Heritage Sealed Units
Installation Guide
Glazing of Heritage Sealed Units® manufactured by JCL Glass Ltd should always be carried out in accordance with the principles and recommendations of the Glass & Glazing federation. When glazing it is important to prevent the ingress of water into any rebate to retain the integrity of the seal. Do NOT use linseed oil putties or butyl glazing compounds that comes into contact with the units’ edge seal when installing Heritage Sealed Units®.
Recommended Products
Heritage Sealed Units® should be manufactured with the following products:
- Hodgson Heritage Putty
- Hodgson Silfix U9
Recommended Max Unit Sizes
- 4mm Cavity – 600 x 600mm
- 6mm Cavity – 750 x 1000mm
- 8mm Cavity – 750 x 1200mm
